How to View Quiz Results and Feedback

After completing a quiz, reviewing your answers and instructor feedback is essential to understand your performance and identify areas for improvement. This guide will walk you through how to view quiz feedback in D2L Brightspace.

Step 1: Access the Submission View

1. Log in to D2L Brightspace: Start by logging into your D2L Brightspace account using your username and password.

2. Navigate to Quizzes:

   • Select "Other Tools" from the course navigation bar.
   • Click on "Quizzes".

3. Select the Quiz:

   • Find the quiz for which you want to view results.
   • Click the dropdown arrow (carrot) next to the quiz title.

4. View Submission:

   • Select "Submissions" from the dropdown menu.
   • Click on "Attempt 1" to see your results.

Step 2: Review Quiz Results in the Submission View

1. View Submission Details: The submission view allows you to see detailed results of your quiz attempt. Depending on your instructor’s settings, this may include:
• Correct Answers: Questions you answered correctly.
• Incorrect Answers: Questions you answered incorrectly.
• Questions Without Responses: Any questions you left unanswered.
• Questions With Responses: The answers you provided for each question.
• Correct Answers: The correct answers as designated by your instructor.
2. Understand the Indicators:
• Checkmarks: Indicate the answers you selected.
• X's: Indicate answers that were incorrect.
• Arrows: Show the correct answers as determined by the instructor.

Step 3: Navigate the Submission View

1. Review Each Question: Go through each question in the submission view to understand where you did well and where there is room for improvement.
2. Instructor Feedback: If your instructor provided feedback on specific questions, make sure to read it carefully to understand their comments and suggestions.

Step 4: Exit the Submission View

Click Done: After reviewing your quiz results and feedback, click "Done" to exit the submission view.
