Financial Aid Options

This page outlines resources for financial aid

  1. Graduate Assistantships: GAs work 10 hours per week. The salary from GA positions is directly applied to tuition ($1800 per quarter). Here is information regarding NLU Graduate Assistantships.

  2. Work-study: Federal Work-study positions have no set obligated hours per week. The salary for work-study ca be up to $23 per hour.

  3. Scholarships: Students may apply for a variety of scholarships through NLU, or other sources.

  5. PACE Program RA, (Professional Assistance Center for Education) is designed to meet the transitional needs for young adults with multiple learning disabilities. Live in the City! http://www.nl.edu/pace/

  6. Loans: Complete your FAFSA! Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). More than 75% of NLU students receive some form of financial aid.  Find out more about the different types of student loans on the NLU Financial Aid website.
