Overview

What is Aim4Excellence™?

Aim4Excellence is an online national director credential for early childhood administrators. The credential focuses on the essential knowledge and skills you need to deliver high-quality programming for young children.  You can connect to Aim4Excellence anytime from anywhere you have Internet access.

How does it work?

Aim4Excellence includes nine self-paced modules. Take all nine modules to earn your Aim4Excellence national director credential or take only one or a few to build  competence  in a specific management area. Modules can be taken for credit or noncredit.

You’ll access everything you need from the convenience of your computer.  Aim4Excellence is delivered through a unique online delivery model that’s simple enough for a beginner computer user to navigate.

What Aim4Excellence™ can do for you?

Aim4Excellence is designed to help you better manage the many tasks you juggle everyday as an early childhood director. The content is specific to your work and designed around your unique needs as a busy adult learner.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children recognizes Aim4Excellence as an alternative pathway for meeting part of the director qualifications for NAEYC program accreditation. What’s required?

To get started you first need to register.  Both individuals and groups can register online with a credit card or purchase order.

After registering you’ll receive a username and password to log in. You’ll then complete each module at your own pace. The modules include a series of built-in evidence of learning (EOL) pieces designed to help you apply the concepts presented to your own situation. You’ll submit these EOLs with a mouse click right from your computer screen. Each module takes approximately 16 hours to complete.
